frank

I never thought I'd find myself willingly listening to Frank Zappa, but I am as a result of the NPR program Fresh Air. Yesterday they featured a snippet of a song that sounded like a song I knew but hadn't heard in ages* (and of course, didn't have any information on). Naturally, I was intrigued, but it took them until this afternoon to post information on the music interludes from that show! Finally, after they updated the site, I figured out which song it was (they typically use 5-6 songs during each show): Eat that Question, from Zappa's 1973 album The Grand Wazoo. You can click on the title of the song to listen - enjoy!

*For some reason, when I heard it, I thought it was similar to the Doogie Howser, M.D. theme, but a quick Google search dispelled that notion.

Whoah there! Slippery slope and all that... soon you'll be all 'Weasels Ripped My Flesh' and 'Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch'. Hopefully!

Happy FZing.
