So... I graduated.
AND got a new job. Not in my field, mind you, but a full-time gig (nearby!) for the summer with fair pay and a nice boss. If all goes as planned over the next few months, I'll be able to pay off some debts and figure out when I want to leave Cincinnati. Sometime in 2009 is my goal.
In general, I've had the best few days I've had in a long time. Graduation was very nice; the school put on a thoughtful reception after the ceremony under a big tent with tons of cookies and cheese and crackers and fruit and veggies and pretzels and drinks and even ICEEs! My mom was pretty excited about being able to get a slushie on a hot day.
I suppose this posting is probably overly exuberant (not irrationally so, I hope)... but it is a rather big occasion for me. It's been seven years since I began my undergraduate work and I'm thrilled (though also a little scared) to be done.
