And for those of you in the U.S., happy Fourth of July. I had a really fun day yesterday. I went to Whole Foods for some treats to take to the party I was going to, and I stopped in the Gap to check out their sale items. I ended up leaving with a great black cardigan for $13! After tax! They were doing this extra 25% off sale items special, which was fantastic. Anyway the party was great. It was in Mariemont, an older part of town on the east side where my grandparents lived for decades. It was nice to be there, and I really liked the house where the party was held. (Makes sense, the host was an architect with good taste.) It's a neighborhood where lots of families live. Every year they have a fireworks show, and it was impressive for just a neighborhood show.
Anyway, a lot's happened, so I'll clue you in: I'm trying to get used to my new job. It's difficult work, but the money is going to be really helpful this summer. Using graduation gift money, I bought a new iMac that I love but still have to really transition into (my files aren't on it yet). And I guess that's about it. Zach is doing well.
See you again soon.
