a Big Apple

Well hello!

I had a wonderful, restorative trip to a beautiful (if rainy) city last weekend. My love for New York has been confirmed, and yes, I seriously want to live there. The first day I was there was filled with rain and subway confusion, but after that I had a terrific weekend filled with excellent food, exciting museum visits, fun lunches with friends (some new, some not), and all-around good times. Heck, I liked it so much I almost missed my flight back.

Anyway, as with Charleston, I only shot film on this trip. That said, I shot more photos than I have in a very long time - four rolls of 36-exposure 35mm color film. If all goes as planned it should be back from the lab tomorrow so I can show you (and the Flickrverse) what a great time I had.
